Notes on Floral Preservation
Floral preservation items have their own timeline due to the process of preserving the fresh flowers, pouring resin in multiple layers, sanding, polishing and any other finishing steps necessary. For this reason, turnaround times are just an estimation, and not guaranteed. My goal is to make each piece as perfect as possible and I appreciate your patience and trust in me to do so.
Resin Care & Natural Aging
Resin will naturally undergo changes, including a gradual shift in color to a warm amber tone. Although this is normal, it can be accelerated if not cared for properly. Direct sunlight and heat are the primary factors that speed up this change.
Dried Flowers
Resin preservation extends the life of your flowers after they go through the drying process. As a natural material, flowers can change throughout the entire preservation process. For example, some flowers will dry lighter/darker or even a different color completely. Translucent areas may be visible, as bruising is unavoidable before drying. I do my best to perfect your keepsake, but this is all normal while working with dried flowers.
Display Suggestions
It is recommended to keep resin blocks & pressed frames away from direct sunlight and high humidity areas as to avoid speeding up the fading of your flowers and/or ambering of resin.
