Hi, I’m Lindsay — the hands, heart, and soul behind Opal & Daisy Keepsakes.
More than anything, I’m a mom to two incredible little girls. The name Opal & Daisy is my quiet tribute to them — Opal for my youngest’s birthstone, Daisy for my oldest’s birth flower. They are my inspiration, my light, and the reason I began creating keepsakes that tell a story.
By day, I’m a sonographer, surrounded by the earliest beginnings of life. But in the quiet in-between moments, I’ve found a deep love for turning memories into something tangible — a lock of hair, a drop of breastmilk, a piece of a life once lived — preserved forever in jewelry.
What began as a way to celebrate my own motherhood journey quickly became something more powerful. When I was asked to create a memorial piece, I realized these keepsakes could offer comfort, healing, and a way to hold onto something — someone — who feels far too close to forget.
Before I became a mother, I became a military widow. I lost someone I loved deeply — a loss that reshaped my world. In the hardest moments, it was the small, meaningful keepsakes that gave me something to hold onto. They helped me grieve. They helped me heal. They reminded me that love doesn’t end — it evolves into memory, into legacy.
